My name is Shaunna and I am a “true Northern gal” – I was born and raised in “small town” Northwestern Ontario (which is why I can get away with using the word “gal”) – there are a lot of rocks, trees, lakes and fresh air up there – plenty of room for running around and exploring!

I am an Ontario-trained, certified teacher and after spending almost 5yrs in Quebec, have returned to Ontario and settled with my little family of four in the fantastic, balmy Niagara Region!

My hobbies include all things outdoors – camping, hiking, fishing, exploring, swimming and despite currently playing the role of “stay at home mom”, I find myself extremely busy raising my 4yr old daughter, Miss J and my 1yr old son, Mr. B. I LOVE to read and enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and while I like to think I’m crafty, I’ll be leaving many of those types of posts to my wonderful friend and partner! Kim has a real eye for all things creative – I’m more of a “rant”-style writer, as no doubt, you’ll find out soon!
