Shaunna & I both use cloth diapers on our little ones and have used them for our older girls. It can be a crazy sub-culture, with coveted diaper prints and exclusive diapers sought after by some, but bottom line (haha get it, bottom…hee hee) cloth is great for the environment and your wallet. Now, what about those wipes?

Stroller Survival Kit
Today was a GORGEOUS day! 20 degrees Celsius (for you American-folk out there, that’s about 68 degrees Fahrenheit). This morning before my Kindermusik class, I took the kids for a walk. Then, after Kindermusik, we went for another walk. Then, after lunch, we went for yet another walk! In total, Miss J and I have walked for about 90min today – wonderful!

With a trained English Teacher for a mom, my kids are always going to have well-stocked book shelves. Miss J has 6 cubbies filled tight with books in her bedroom, Mr. B has 5 or 6 tubs filled on his shelf too … nevermind the downstairs “stash” or the “next level” books I have in boxes in the porch! Our days often start and end with storytime and usually when baby naps in the afternoon, there’s another storytime for Miss J that involves some early literacy-building activities. Continue reading

When our daughter was about 3 months old, we invested in a gDiapers “starter kit”. It came with 2 gDiaper covers – Great Orange & Genuine Vanilla Bean – and an assortment of accessories to give us a chance to “test-drive” the system before really jumping in and committing.
