A Very Berry 1st Birthday
Well, Mr. B officially turned 1 today. 8:30PM a year ago, with the help of midwives, I delivered my son into my hubby’s waiting hands who quickly passed him up to me for his first snuggles. After an emergency c-section delivery with Miss J three years earlier, this was an entirely different experience. To my relief, I was home to Miss J after just 18 hours later and we all got to enjoy those first moments with Mr. B together. It was AMAZING. Continue reading

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites
Pinterest and I have a love-hate thing going on. I love all the great tips, tricks and recipes I can find and how super easy it is to organize and re-categorize them once I’ve tried them out, but I hate that I can easily blow 2 hours perusing random pins in what feels like the blink of an eye. I validate this time by telling myself that at least I have a dozen new pins that I won’t have to re-Google to try to find again when the urge strikes for whatever that project or recipe is.

Miss J is a HUGE (if I could make ALLCAPS bigger, I would!) fan of CBC’s “In The Kitchen” with Stefano Faita. We try to watch every afternoon when Mr. B is having his nap – for a 3yr old to be able to tell me when it’s 3:30pm is fairly impressive, but that is one time-of-day she absolutely knows!
